Help with intercarrier texting issue

I really need help with an intercarrier texting issue! I got my number ported over to my old one that's with petro canada and I can send texts but can't receive any! I read on these forums that public mobile can resolve it.

Hi @thecatpetter!

I agree with @ShawnC13, your number transfer request is stuck.

One of the mods can fix this for you by resubmitting the request.  Double check your petro canada account number and pin and provide it to the mods via a private message along with the correct name of the petro account holder.  

 

The number ports usually take around half hour.  So you can expect a fairly quick resolution once the mods read your message.  

 

@ShawnC13 I know you covered the bases but I just had this urge to reply as this is my chance to start posting again after managing to skip the madness of the last 24 hours 😄

@thecatpetter, sounds like you have stuck port.  You will need to message the MODS.

  • PM Phone Number
  • 4 digit PIN (if you don't remember this then they will need at least 3 of the following to verify your identity)
    • account number 
    • date of birth
    • complete address listed on account with postal code
    • email address on account
    • most commonly called numbers

    • last payment date and amount
    • last 4 digits of the credit card
