Hello!
I moved and need to deactivate my account. I've looked and looked and there doesnt seem to be a simple way to do it... help!

If you ported out, the number was released back to PM.
Account should therefore be deactivated.
Otherwise if left dormant after 90 days it should automatically be done.

@chairs, One more thing that wasn't mentioned... If you have a credit card on file in your account, you should probably remove it - even if you turn off auto-pay. The CC info would otherwise remain in Public Mobile's database long after your account is closed. You never know what could happen down the road.

Easiest way is to disable autopay.
If you have a balance or credit, (Source: mimmo_l), you can also report your phone lost or stolen in the self service account. However, if it you deactivate or hold more than 3 months, you will lose your number.

Disable your autopay. After 90 days without payment, your account will be cancelled.
Unless you are moving out of Canada, you can change your phone number.to where you are moving to.
After login, select [Plan and Add-Ons] --> [Change Phone Number]
