I registered for Public Mobile a bit over a week ago. I was given the number (437) 848-****. 

 

I can only make phone calls and use the data plan.

 

When someone tries to call me, a different person picks up the phone.

I cannot send or receive sms messages.

My phone's IMEI is 35444980086****.

 

I request urgent resolution of this issue as I am phoneless.

 

I request my bill be corrected to reflect the error on your network.

As I cannot receive calls or text messages, please email me at ***********@***.***

That solution doesn't appear to be an option. 

@WvuSoldier  unfortunately it usually takes 2-4 hours for reply from support and they work 8am-10PM EST 

After submitting ticket keep an eye on your community inbox for their reply , or you can use this link to the community in box

@WvuSoldier Tap on "Resend Code". You should then be given the option of receiving it via email. Then pick another number as suggested by @Handy1  In your app, select your account, scroll down to "Change Phone Number" and follow the prompts.

Yeah, I sent them a message earlier. No reply yet. 

 

This isn't the best way to start with a new customer. 😕

To clarify: I picked the number from PM. I am okay picking a new number. How do I do that?

@WvuSoldier  You picked number from PM correct ? You didn’t port a number ? If you picked number from PM the porting team won’t be able to help . You just need to pick a new number unfortunately

I can't login without SMS working. If I had the phone number I wouldn't need to log in.

@WvuSoldier  This happened to me before and I just had to log onto my account and pick a new number it’s glitch . pm sometimes gives number option that belong to somone else 

Change # on profile tabs
