Freedom Mobile is doing well. Ever since the one day PM promotion, FM has been discounting their plans. I noticed that the FM stores are extremely busy compared to Koodo and the other carriers. PM pushed FM into a corner and FM came out swinging. FM is now stealing customers away from the other carriers.

If you go with the $49 plan, you will also lose the extra 2 gigs at full speed. So instead of 8 gigs it will be 6 gigs. But you will get a nice discount on the $49 plan ($36.75 before taxes).

I believe the discount is on $49 or $59. It's not on the discounted price. I was hoping it would be on the $50 promo plan but it is not. The discount is for life. It is still a better than paying the full price and you are still paying less than the $50 promo plan.

Some F&F codes are emailed out to old account holders @25% off. As for me, the plan is on sale this weekend for $50, minus share credits under the old account.

I think you need to get one from a Freedom/Shaw employee however from what I've seen on redit they expired Aug 31st.

I couldn't resist any longer. FM is strong in our area, so coverage was not an issue. Managed to get the Everywhere59 for sub $45. Can't go wrong at <$45 for an unlimited North America/Hawaii/Puerto Rico Talk and Text plan + 1GB.

Yeah from what I've seen online Freedom is still working out Band 66 LTE redundancy issues especially for 3rd party BYOP devices like my OnePlus5...I'll stick with a tried & true network for now.

These are crazy fast speed test results.  However, this is only possible with good reception and no congestion.  This is unfortunately am Achilles heel that freedom has yet to solve.  BTW, support the devs, get rid of the hideous ads.
