If you joined Dec 4 to 8, you have 6GB every 30 days.  There's a separate free 1GB too. That's one-time.

the give away is a one time add-on, which stays in your active account until used up. It does not change your plan data (which remains 5GB / 30days on the $40 plan and will be reset on your renewal dates). The add-on will kick in if you use up all your plan data before your renewal, plan data will always be used up first.
