I recently signed up for Public Mobile. I paid $39.55 on my Visa ($25 for the first month, $10 for the sim card, plust tax). I recently received the sim card and was trying to activate it on my phone. I downloaded the Public Mobile app on my phone ], logged in but now i am being put through the entire process on selecting a subscription. Didn't I already do that? I simply want to get activate this new sim card that was sent to me and get a new phone number. What are the steps that I need to do that? thanks.

@Norm61 - when you started the activation in the app, did you get an option to choose the "I already have a SIM card" ?

I am stuck a Step 1 "Select a Subscription". I thought that is what I did when I paid the $25 plus the $10 to get the sim card. The only instructions with the sim card was to download the Public Mobile app, which I did.

App should offer you to select a number and complete activation.
"5. Finish Setup - If you are on the website, download the Public Mobile app to continue setting up your subscription. If you are on the app, continue to select a new number or transfer an existing number and follow the steps on the app to finish"
If in doubt contact agent for assistance to avoid accident double payment.

@Norm61 - good question. when you first signed up and paid for the $25 plan was there other instructions to do once you received the sim card?
