Finally got the phone working but can’t get incoming calls

So after finally reaching my other provider I got the phone working my profile shows my transferred number can make calls and send and receive text messages but can’t get any incoming calls ?? Does it take awhile for the number to transfer ? It’s been almost 4 hours now

Did you reboot your phone by powering it off then back on. It just need to reset things on the phone.

I switched from Rogers .. the phone was stolen and I didn’t have it or the sim from Rogers so had to get a new sim to accept the message and was speaking with them before that and they said they approved the transfer but that was before I activated a new sim to the Rogers account so that I could finish my activation with public ! I have the public mobile sim in the phone now and the data is showing up and running I messaged the number from a diff phone it worked called a diff number it worked but when I call the phone I don’t get incoming calls still 🤷‍♀️
