My Koodo Post-paid account was previously a PC mobile Post-paid account, which was migrated to Koodo when PC ended their post-paid service in 2018. Apparent the account was hosted on platform similar to Koodo Prepaid, hence porting could not be done in Self-Service.

If anyone encounters the same problem and the porting source has a PC Mobile postpaid history, please contact Mod Team here and provide the following info for them to process the port manually:

- Your PM phone number and security pin

- Your Koodo phone number, account number, account holder name.

Thanks for the update.

Interesting that going from PC Mobile post-paid (needing mod to PM) to Koodo post-paid (not needing mod to PM) would hold on to something internally to then need the mod.

Glad you got it sorted.

Did you ask and write the moderator to do it? With prepaid and telus it's the way to do it...here..

https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/notes/composepage/note-to-user-id/22437

and give them details of your problem Waiting time is few hours to 2 days.

@mycatpuma , the number has to be entered without any dashes.  Likewise the account number has to also be entered without dashes.  The account holder name should be as it appears on the bill.  Include also an alternate contact number.  Other fields are to be left blank.  The number being ported must be active to be eligible to purt.

 @mycatpuma

The moderator is needed for PRE-paid. Unless your subject line is wrong.

Transfering post-paid should not be a problem. Is the Koodo number still active? Is it correct?

Hmmm, I read that’s the case for Koodo Prepaid, not Postpaid.... in any case I guess I need to contact mod since it’s not working in self serve.

I activated the SIM earlier today with a new number, I am doing the porting separately.

i will contact mod team then.

Hi @mycatpuma ,

I think if you're porting from Koodo Post Paid, you need to contact the moderators first for the proting to be successful.

Pick a new number first to activate your SIM. Then send a private message to MOD to initiate the port.
