Expecting texts for validation while travelling

Hi,

I will be travelling to the UAE and might need to receive texts for validations and such.  Will I be able to receive texts and callss while in the UAE?  If not, any options that can be recommended?

Thanks, this is a good solution but I will keep it basic , data plan with whatsapp might be the way to go.

As mentioned, PM does not offer international country roaming (except for USA).  You could foward your phone calls to a VOIP service like Fongo. 

As for 2FA texts, that is problematic for Public mobile customers while traveling.  Some services do offer email 2FA messages instead of texts. You can ask your banking and other services whether that there are other options for verification besides text.

@Pearl95   Sorry, PM doesn't offer any roaming service outside of the US.  You'll need to get a local SIM or rely upon apps like Skype, Whatsapp or Textnow.
