I just activated my eSimcard and it is sending a code to my number for 2-step verification. However my phone number is currently in active as I cancelled my plan with previous carrier. So now I am subscribed with Public Mobile plan but cannot receive verification code to access my account. What to do now please help me!

@DatThiem  Do you actually want your old number back?  I'm not sure why it is in your account for Eversafe if you don't still use it, did you transfer it from the old carrier and then change to a new PM number?  For Eversafe have you tried getting the code sent to email instead?  If you still can't log in then send a private message to customer service using this link.  An agent will reply at the envelope icon top right of this page or tap your avatar and see Messages.  Once you are in your account you can change the phone number in your Eversafe profile to the one you want the codes to go to..

@DatThiem

You will need your old account active to port your old number over to PM. If you cancelled your account before the porting process, you will need to pick a new number.

There is a very slim chance if your old number was originally picked from Telus or Koodo. You can try pm a CS_Agent to see if they can help.

If the number was from another carrier…you are out of luck and pick a new number.

If you don’t remember who you got your number. Check to see who own’s your old number:

Did you port your number over before you cancelled it? In order to start, you have to request the transfer from your previous carrier,  keeping your account open with their sim so that you can reply to the verification email.

If you cancelled it prior to porting over, try and call them back and explain the situation to see if they can re-activate your previous phone  number so that you can request port again.
