i got: Unable to activate eSIM
and then i scanned the QR code sent to my email -> not working anymore
BUT I RESTARTED MY IPHONE and it worked

@Blighguy , yes, it will work in iPhone XR.
Once the eSIM successfully installs you need to do the things below to activate it:
Reboot your iPhone XR.
In cellular settings make sure that “ Turn On This Line “ is selected, reset network settings & reboot.
You said the eSIM didn’t activate so you would need to send a private message to CS_Agents for help using the link that @maple_leaf provided to you.

@Blighguy , Per the eSIM FAQs link sent earlier, you have 3 tries to install the eSIM from a QR code. If 3 attempts failed, you can contact a Customer Support Agent for more assistance. I've included the link below. Also, check the eSIM Support for iPhone link sent earlier to double check that your iPhone is eSIM compatible.

You have to check to see if your phone is compatible with an eSIM….mine wasn’t, so I bought one for $4.99 off of amazon.ca

Hello @Blighguy , Really not enough information to answer you. As @hairbag1 mentioned above, are you swapping a SIM for an eSIM on an existing subscription, or starting a brand new activation? What error message are you seeing? What steps were you taking? What kind of phone do you have (Android or iPhone)? I can offer the links below regarding eSIM troubleshooting, if that's helpful.
