Thanks, I know. This was an old reply but didn’t update the response.

I'm also a new subscriber using the eSim platform.  Between my iPhones, can I use transfer them infinite times or is it a one time deal?

@galaxysurfer

It sounds like you need a new battery on your Google Pixel phone. Should be an easy fix unless the screen is cracked by the bulge.

Issue is bulging phone back on pixel. Just anticipating all scenarios at this point tiill get verdict from a repair shop. Hopefully won't need to do anything & phone can be successfully repaired rather than need to be replaced at this point which will buy me some time till need to do an upgrade.

@galaxysurfer  I think it will be soon  (all providers act together).  Look like we can't turn back the clock, iPhone will start eSIM only and Samsung will follow and then the whole world follows.  Providers have no choice but to follow.  Also, eSIm transfer is not free, $5.  So, providers will actually make extra money out of it, so, they will love to cooperate

HI@galaxysurfer

at the moment YES, physical sim card is the only way due to system limitation on PM side

But if you can hold on a bit for new phone, maybe we will get good news soon.  Mnay are waiting for the eSIM able to transfer across phones and maybe we will see it in a month or two.

So basically for now only one way transfer to physical Sim card? I was hoping to get away from musical Sims! NA phone providers won't do multi sum phones, so this is the result.

@BKNS27 no, eSIM transfer at the moment

To transfer eSIM across phones, the provider need to regenerate a new eSIM QR code. PM cannot regenerate the code at this moment.  Hopefully they can do that soon

@galaxysurfer if you are using another phone, physical sim is the only way

get a Public Mobile sim card from

Once you got the sim card, go to My Account from ONLY a desktop or laptop computer to request Change Sim card (please note that due to some glitches, accessing change sim care from mobile phone or tablet won't work)

After you login ,  go to Profile page, click on the Pencil besides the sim card number, follow the steps to enter the new sim card number and complete the change sim card request

What do you mean by hardware problem?Your phone had the bun?

If both are iPhones, you can transfer eSIM to nearby iPhone.

If is an Android to iPhone or versa then you need to contact a CS_Agent by private messaging and have they send you a new eSIM QR code.

@galaxysurfer

At the present time, with Public mobile, customers are unable to switch eSIM from one phone to another.  You will need to get a physical SIM card for the transfer.  Hopefully, this will change in the near future.

@galaxysurfer

can you define "hardware problem" ?

added...you might have to just live with a physical sim until you get a phone that works properly with the PM esim.
