EXTRA CHARGES ON MY VISA

Strawberry01

My bills are auto paid monthly. On 12/9/2023, My son asked me to pay his outstanding balance of $8.96 with my Visa. Jan 3, 2024 a charge came in for $33.60 which was for my son's phone as he forgot to remove my banking info (which was fine) and my own phone for $44.80 on same day. Jan 8 an extra charge of $8.96 was charged on my Visa then another charge of $16.80 on Jan 11, 2024. WHAT ARE THESE CHARGES? Why is there an extra charge that we did not authorize? Where do I get a refund for these charges???

Thank you for the advise.  Its fine with me using my card - it is the extra charges which are unknown charges from public that is concerning.  it just started to appear recently.

Once your credit card information is added to an account, it can't be removed by the user, only by customer support staff.

If your son did not turn off the auto-subscription status in self-serve, the card can continue to be usable by him and could be charged for additional services at his behest.

Perhaps start with a chat with your son?

You can login to the 2 separate accounts and go to the Payment section for the details of the extra charges.

Please note that any extra charges over your monthly plan will remain as credit that will apply to the next month bill.

Thank you for the info - I tried to reach out but got no where.  Now, there was a customer support that responded.  Let's see where it goes. Thanks again.

you'll need to message Customer Support to request explanation and a refund if due.

watch the little envelop icon on top right side of page will be highlighted when they respond.
