Hey guys, I want to order a new SIM card. However, I'm deciding whether to order it online or do it in person.
How long does it take for the SIM card to arrive if I order it online? I live in Ontario.
I would prefer to do it in person at Walmart but due to the lockdown, I'm not sure if the electronics department is offering those services now. Any idea if they're open?
Thanks!

Great to hear - yes, Walmart can be good experiences, even in their mobile department, which receives mixed reviews.
I hope you used someone's referral code on the activation to save yourself $10 on your second bill.
Welcome to public mobile!!

Thanks for the feedback! I ended up going to Walmart and activating it. They even included the sim card for free 🙂

ordered via PM really YMMV.. my friend told me he got it within a week.. but more reported that they got it after 3 weeks.
I understand you might not want to go in person, so, if you have Amazon Prime, you might want to o with Prime for it 2 days Prime delivery

As noted, it will take up to 3 weeks for the PM SIM to arrive if you order on line.
Since you are in Ontario, I would suggest you order from Canadian Cell Supplies. They have the PM SIMs on sale plus they have specials on PM plans if you activate the SIM with them but you won’t be able to use a $10 referral code discount.
You can also pick one up at London Drugs or other PM retailers but you may not be able to pick it up because of COVID restrictions.

Other vendors include Mobile shop (inside Superstore), WOW mobile, some authorized Koodo dealers. Not sure if Walmart kiosks are open in Ontario with Covid restrictions. You might want to call. Some Walmart reps will offer free SIM card if you activate in store. YMMV.
Besides Public mobile directly, Amazon also sells PM SIM cards. Canadiancellsupplies is also reliable and you can pick up if you live in the Toronto area.
