To transfer a Public Mobile eSIM to a new phone, you must download the Public Mobile app on your new device and request a replacement eSIM. Public Mobile does not support direct phone-to-phone eSIM transfers through your phone's built-in settings. The system will automatically lower the standard $5 cost to $0 at checkout, as long as your current eSIM has been active for at least 15 days and is still installed on your old phone.
Keep your old phone on: Do not delete your old eSIM or turn off the device yet. You will need it to receive a two-factor security code.
2. Download the app: Install the official Public Mobile App on your new phone.
3. Log in: Log into your existing account on the new phone. Enter the verification code sent to your old phone.
4. Request eSIM: Tap the Account tab at the bottom of the screen.
5. Select purchase: Tap Purchase SIM Card (or Change Your SIM Card) and choose eSIM.
6. Complete the order: The app will check your new phone's compatibility. It will list a $5 price, but an automatic credit will change the final checkout total to $0.
7. Install the profile: Tap Install eSIM Now and follow the on-screen and follow the on-screen prompts from your phone's operating system.
Or After you set up your new eSIM, you can submit your receipt for a refund by reaching out to PM Customer Support Team
