I had set up a self serve account using one email address. I went to change that email address, but realized i had to make an account in the community. I used my new e mail address to create that. I found out after the self serve and the community address have to be the same. Please help me to make them the same, or what I can do to fix this. Thank you,

In Self serving account email can be changed by agent only.
In Community you can change it at any time.
Both accounts do NOT have to be the same but it is advisable if you plan to earn some Community rewards (helping others) and apply them to your PM account.

Yes, you should match up the email in Community and Self Serve My Account
Community, you an do it yourself
My Account, open ticket with CS agent and they will help. It is an easy step but you need them to do that for you

I went into the community and changes the email address there to make them the same. Now I am hoping to go in and change both. probably the community one 1st, then the self serve 2nd. hope it works
