Dropping calls and not receiving them

Good day,

Out by Drayton Valley Alberta we have been dropping calls, not receiving calls off and on for the past month.

Things that I have tried:

Reset iPhone 

powered off and on

removed and reinstalled sim card

purchased new phone

tried a booster

cycled airplane mode

This has been happening with 2 public mobile phones.

Has there been any changes to Public Mobile/Telus towers north of Drayton Valley?

I understand that unfortunately Public Mobile doesn’t have WIFI Callings options. We are getting pretty discouraged.

Please advise on a course of action.

Yes I had to creat a new Community ID.

Thanks for the response.  I have been with Public for over a year and it seems this issue is relatively new. I will contact the CS_Agent. Thanks

I have tried 3G and LTE. It’s an IPhone 8.  Can’t see anywhere that indicates it’s VoLTE. Thanks

Thanks, it is dropping calls in 3G and LTE for cellular.  Thanks for the reply

I noticed your community ID is created yesterday. Does that mean you had a previous community ID but when tried to access it it said that the name was already in use? That happened to many members here (including myself). You can have your previous community ID recovered, if you submit a ticket with customers support and ask them to recover it for you.

@Alberta1 - you are the 2nd member I have read about this similar issue today, but different province. Good troubleshooting you did.

Were you new a month ago? Or did you have working services prior to that without issue, then this was an all of a sudden change? 

Maybe try the SIM Card into another phone and see if the issue persists. If the issue keeps happening then ask CSA to look into your account or area of towers. FYI, we are not public mobile staff, we are customers like you here on the forum. Ways to contact Public Mobile Customer Support (CSA) below:

1-Normally Faster - use this link to: Get Help With Public Mobile Chatbot], also found in various places in Public webpages, OR

2-go to your ENVELOPE at the top right of your Community Account which is where your Inbox and Sent messages are. Select the orange/peach color box with the pencil inside it to start a new message.

Type CS_Agent in the SEND TO box. This will create a private message to Public Mobile Customer Support. (link is provided in #3 below as well).

did you try changing to 3G network for the network mode?

which iPhone model is that? do you know if the phone is already using VoLTE?

Try setting your preferred network to 3G and reboot.
