@publicuser1234 "Alright I ended up ordering a Cubot Note 21."   I don't think there is any guarantee that one will have VoLTE enabled on Public Mobile, at least it's not on the list I posted earlier in the thread (I suspect that if new phones are enabled that aren't on PM's current list they are more likely to be well distributed brands) but time will tell.

Most Android OS versions support multiple languages for the UI and the onscreen keyboard. If Russian support is not provided as a built-in option then you can download it.

You will probably find that most apps fail to support other languages. Or they lean heavily on google translation services (with generally okay but sometimes bad results). It's just the way it is.

I only see band 5 on the GSM database info. Which I'm more inclined to believe is accurate than an online vendor. But it could vary from model to model and region to region. And you're probably correct, if Telus doesn't sell it then Telus isn't likely to allow VoLTE on it.

If you buy a new phone in Canada then it's basically guaranteed to be compatible with Canadian networks.

If you buy a new phone on Alibaba or eBay then it's basically a gamble every time. Make sure you have the option to send it back for full refund if it doesn't work in this country.

VoLTE is not a band issue but whether your phone model is whtelisted.   Your model is not whitelisted and it won't VoLTE, instead it uses 3G for voice

And what exact bands (named please) is the phone missing? thanks

Also I have a Blackview A55 does that have Volte enabled?

@publicuser1234   If it doesn't have VoLTE on PM as already mentioned you would have problems with voice calls if you are likely to be roaming in the USA because there are no longer 3G networks there for a non-VoLTE phone to fall back on.  The only option in that case would be if you can connect to 2G on T-Mobile.  In time this will also become an issue in Canada if and when 3G is shut down here (rumoured but not confirmed to be end 2025 but if it's longer than that you may have another new phone by the time it happens!).  A list of currently VoLTE acceptable phones on PM is at the bottom of this link.  As has been pointed out before, the list does not seem to get updated so YMMV for anything not listed.
