I'd say sending a photo or just the voucher pin to friends or family is safe 🙂
It's not 100% secure, but the risk of the voucher being "stolen" in between is (very) low. Just make sure the receiver knows when you're sending it, and that they use it ASAP and you should be fine.

Still can't figure out what you were asking, nor who was being thanked?
Now I see other question you posted. All is now clear.

Are you looking to add a voucher to your account? Or are you looking to send one to a friend for them to use? If you're looking to add it to your account, you can't add it through photos. You have to either enter it in on self serve or call 611 and enter it in there. If you're looking to send one to a friend, I say it is probably fine, just do it at your own discretion.

Email or MMS are not safe to send sensitive info. But lots of people are doing it.
Are you buying a PM topup voucher for a friend and you are living in a low tax province?
You and your friend can use PM community private mail system to send voucher info between yourself.

@pmxqj do not post your voucher here. If you are having problems adding it. Take a snapshot, and contact the moderstors and ask them to add it for you ( attach it to your private mesage using method 2). There are 2 ways to contact the Moderator Team:
Once connected to Simon, you will be asked to log in again with your community user name and password. Please do, this allows you to continue and send your message.
- Check your private message sent box (click on the envelope top right of your screen) to make sure the message was sent.
- Keep an eye on the envelope top right of your screen. The mods answer will show up there. When it does, you will be asked to verify your self service account, with your password and login. Doing so allows the process to continue. Stay safe.

Try adding it to your account by dialing 611.

@pmxqj I'm not sure I understand what you are asking. Where would you send a picture of your store bought voucher to?
