Hi,
My current plan includes "40 GB Canada-US Data at 5G Speed", but when I arrived in the US today, I noticed that I don't have any data. Do I need to pay an additional $20 to add-on "US Roaming - 1 GB Data (15-day)"?
I thought my original plan was good enough for up to 40GB data in the US?

ATT would provide 4G, T- Mobile better for data. ATT better for voice especially with VoLTE

You could also try changing to 4G LTE and being connected to AT&T. Your phone might be on 5G right now. AT&T roaming doesn't seem to like 5G.
Could you try making a call and seeing if you have volte enabled?

I figured it out. Roaming turned on and I switched to T-Mobile. Thanks for your help!

Thanks Halimacs for the quick reply. My phone (Pixel 7) is currently showing it is connected to AT&T, how do I change it to T-Mobile?

No you don't, @Kan2023 (subject of course to whether you have any data remaining in your allotment which you can confirm on your self-serve account)
Just manually connect to the T-Mobile network, turn on your roaming, and you should be good to go
