Delay / failure when transfer a number from a wired carrier

Hi all;

I just set an account up yesterday, and transferred the number from one of our fixed (landline) phones.  There was no error and it seemed to go through.  However, it's been almost a day, and if I dial that number, it still goes to the landline, so the transfer hasnt gone through.  Does it usually take a long time to do this?

@tony2k  landlines can generally take 2 days to port over. In some cases up to two weeks. Once you can recieve incoming calls from the ported number on your cell the port is complete.

@tony2k  landline ports can take up to two weeks so be patient.
