Hi there
Does someone know for sure whether if I setup the $10 monthly talk/text plan, and do a one-time addition of the $8, 200 minute US/Canada long distance, will the add-on kick in if I go over the 50 minutes for local calling? In other words, is it "US/Canada/local" minutes? Or is the add-on useless for local calling? It's for my young son who may not go over the minutes or texts of the base plan, but the roll-over long distance add-on would be a back up in case he does. There seem to be conflicting opinions on here.
Thanks in advance! @CS_Agent

Get the 400 minute add on instead. It is a bit cheaper per minute and the minutes can additionally be used for international calling to countries over and above the USA (which is not the centre of the universe).

We have been told that the long distance addon will indeed cover you if you go over your minutes. You can read about the whole plan in this thread https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/Announcements/Plan-updates-new-10-limited-talk-and-te... Click on the spoiler and it will list all the questions you may have regarding the plan
