I appreciate PM going through the trouble and expense of doing a holiday promotion, but technically if you look at the definition of a giveaway it doesn't include PM members doing advertising for PM. The instagram, twitter, and now youtube days of this contest are just that.
I don't want to sound ungrateful and I get it, if I don't want to do it just don't participate but most days so far are a contest, not a giveaway.
Might sound like a small technicality but I was gloating to my family when this was announced that PM was doing a giveaway but now I see a lot of it is just another online contest on social media sites I don't use.
I'm really liking my switch to PM so far and like what the company is doing but please, let's call these what they are. Contests.

Come on guys, it's a chance to win stuff. Please quit complaining and participate if you like and are able to, and otherwise just go about your lives none-the-worse. There are a lot worse things....

I agree. If there is a judgement process, it sounds more like a contest but not "giveaways". (I still want to participate though... whatever how PM phrases it.)

@IWIK I really agree with you, I'm quite disappointed. Compared to the first day, which was so quick and easy it really did feel like it was going to be a fun filled week of prizes and excitement, but it actually just sounds like a lot of work for us. I've given up at this point. It's just a lot of contests in a row.

@IWIK All your say is true, yet corporations do need to advertise to grow. Current "social" media is just another mode. Even though, like you, I do not participate on any I am still pleased PM went to the effort to oganize these contests.
