Over the past two weeks I have had 9 declined incoming calls. I never heard phone ring, I never declined the call. I have screen lock and declining a call requires specific button be pushed so it can't be accidental. It's three numbers; two are contacts one was not. I have been able to receive and make calls to the same numbers normally both before and after these mysterious declines. Sometimes it's connected to Android auto sometimes not. Any tips? Same phone same plan.

Thanks! It's super weird for sure! I wonder why declined and not missed? Ironically enough I was in a more urban than suburban area when this happened! I don't get it

Your Samsung S10 is not VoLTE compatible with Public mobile network. So your voice experience may be hit and miss depending on location and nearest cell tower, etc. That might be a potential cause of your issues.

Me too! If it declined all the time I'd know it's a service issue. I did message PM agent to follow up.
Fortunes they're both close contacts so I received texts and follow up about what's happened. And fortunately I can see declined call.on my log.
It's not my end bc I have screen lock so it's not accidental. And I can call them back immediately.
And after the first time this happened they were able to call me back after I called them to tell them what the issue was
For sure bizarre

Yes no issue with outgoing calls ever. And incoming is just sometimes. I can and have made and recieved calls from and to these numbers (except one but it was an unknown number so I'm not too concerned)
It's just weird it's sporadic. Like happens a week ago. All is normal. Then happened yesterday. When I got thr text the person was trying to reach me and it was going direct to VM I called them vack no problem. It sjust weird its not missed call its declined. I have declined calls but I need to press the option.
It's a samsung s10 so I will have to switch eventually which is annoying bc the phone works fine ( I switch phones when they slow down this one isn't slow at all but i cannot have declined calls) its weird it's sporadic
I was in my home province not US or anything
Thanks!

Are there any other issues with voice services? Are you able to do outgoing calls?
Which model phone are you using? Is it VoLTE compatible with PM network?
Public mobile has been changing the 3G network (switching 3G 850 MHz band to LTE).

If your phone is not VoLTE compatible with the PM network and the 850 MHz 3G band is not available in your area, your talk services will be affected. Here is some information about VoLTE compatible phones with PM:

@Karyathena1 Interesting situation for sure. Any chance that the declined from the “contacts” are actually your friends /family numbers being spoofed and although they appear in your contacts, there is some underlying variation that is actually marking these as spam? Could you have installed or updated a new version of your phones security that now enables an auto decline feature but it, in itself is still imperfect? I’m curious to know how this one unfolds.
