Hi bro,
I am using the plan 20$ with 3 Gb data monthly. This plan is ok for me, as I always use Wifi at home and work. However, this capacity have reached to maximum before the renewal dates over the past months. Therefore, I have just reviewed the historical usage and found that there were lots of data used from 100MB to 600Mb during 12 am to 2:00am when sleeping ALTHOUGH I USED WIFI AT HOME. This is very strange and confusing!
May you help me for this problem, please?
Thank you

@Lee80 this requires more tracking on the system.
having been with PM from the start, I know they won't invest to make upgrade to make the system capable of doing that. Also, I have checked PM's major competitors and none of them offering this. So, if they don't have that, why would PM starts

Hi @slusagm , I think that it should be only applied if the client does not change his current plan to avoid the abuse of this policy.

it is a good idea but this is never a PM's thing. PM is a no-frills provider, it offers only very basic and certainly not nice feature like this. Most plans with roll over features are more expensive plans with the major providers

with your Public Mobile regular plan data...if you have data remaining at your regular plan renewal date...it's gone. You get a fresh batch of data at renewal and remaining is gone.

hi @Lee80
sorry, no roll over data
honest, it is not unreasonable. Although some carriers have that, most carriers do not allow roll over data

Hi all,
I am questioning whether PM allows rolling over data unused to the next renewal/period. this policy will be more reasonable and logical.

I mean PM allows transferring data unused as a gift between us.

Great question. While i doubt this will happen, this is something that I would look forward to also.

confused by your question composition but if you're asking when PM will allow transfer data to a different account...that will never happen with Public Mobile. Hope this answers your question...otherwise re-prhrase it and try again.

Asking about future plans isn't going to give you any answers that can be relied upon. Anyone commenting will be guessing. Public Mobile has not given any indication about offering such a feature, and i wouldn't expect it.

hi @Lee80
you meant transfer unused data to another account? I doubt it. PM is a tier 3 carrier and all accounts are independent (no family account), I don't think anyone going to be changed as this is how all tier 3 carriers do it

Hi all,
I am wondering if Public Mobile could give members to transfer data together in the near future.

Hi Softech,
I use IOS (iphone) and I always login my account at incognition mode Chrome.
Thank you so much for your kind and helpful explanation.

PM does not update the data usage constantly. In fact, it only update it twice a day.
So, any entry you see is just a total usage between that timestamp and the timestamp of the previous entry. The early morning usage you see on the Usage log does not mean it was used in the morning but a total usage for the last 12 hours.
Also, for correct usage reading, always use Incognito mode to login My Account to avoid reading cached old info
And are you using Android? if so, you can change the cycle start date on the phone to match your current cycle start date and confirm the the data usage on both match
