Data usage doesn't add up

Month just rolled over 3 days ago.   Daily data usage for the 3 days totals about 38 mb.   PM shows that I've used 132 of my 250 already for the month.  This has been going on for awhile.

Under the current Public system, as long as your phone is online, the usage overview will always show 100MB more data used than actual usage.

HI @mtlexposfan

it looks like a "buffer" usage only.  There is always that minor data usage, but it used to be within 5Mb but lately it jumps to 100Mb.  From what we know, the 100Mb is just a "ghost" image, it will disappear and would not affect you.  But if you are really blocked from user mobile data after 150Mb because the 100Mb "buffer" usage is there, ask PM support agent to check

They are both PM numbers.  Ever since the new plan rolled out the 250 is used in about a week and when you add up the daily usage it's a fraction of this.   Everything is turned off except for maps.

I've had the same problem ever since this plan was switched to a new system. Nothing else has changed for me but my data seems to disappear quicker.

The Public Mobile adds up data vs how your smartphone will always vary. You will have to go with what Public Mobile says.
