Data roaming toggle gone

Hi my toggle to turn data roaming on and off is completely gone.  I’ve googled and it appears to be something the carrier controls. I recently returned from Spain and used an eSIM, but the eSIM has now been uninstalled. I still can’t find this toggle and I need to cross over into the states so I need to be able to roam

try doing a network re-set to see if that helps.
