if 2 months no data, it does not make sense, other than a phone problem
did you try your kid's sim card in your phone? test it first

@FTT try rebooting the phone or reset network settings . See if that helps and check that you have data left like this
Try again incognito/private mode
And or lap top /computer
OR
simply try refreshing the page to check data plan / mins / add ons
