Just bought a used iphone se (2016) from Public & seems I have a problem with my data.
E-mails sent on data arrive sometimes 12 hours later, texts sometimes not at all, & texts with pics don't go. Also, I am seeing small charges on my Visa most days from Public, even though I have a plan & auto-pay account with data voice/text/data & am always well below my limits. Charges on "My Profile" are spot on but it seems I am possibly being charged for data use directly to my Visa account. HELP!!!
Should VPN be connected (It is not)? Maybe another setting is wrong?

To contact a moderator, there are 2 methods:
Watch for their response in your Community private mailbox which will be indicated by a number on the small envelope icon to the left of your Community avatar.

Public Mobile is a prepaid service. You only pay what you agree to pay - no overages.
What charges do you think you are getting extra on your credit card...? Does it say Public Mobile as the vendor?
EDIT-sorry, you actually had 2 issues...data problems.
Try one or more of the below:
*turn off your phone, leave off for at least 3 minutes, then reboot
*removing your SIM for a few minutes, then reinserting it
*go into airplane mode for a few minutes, then going back to regular mode
*reboot your phone again

This is unusual. Hopefully someone in the community will have an answer for you shortly. If not, contact a moderator and submit a ticket. They are very helpful.
