Cannot place calls

Can receive calls. Usage is still under plan limits  yet when I want to place a local call a male voice instructs me to go for add-ons as long distance calls are not included in my plan yet my plan is for 100 minutes Canada wide. Cannot use my phone and no place to go for info.

Unless you're really close to your renewal date and can wait, I would go for the add-on as proposed by @computergeek541  and promoted by @esjliv 

Here's how to add it:

To purchase Add-Ons using your Self-Serve account, follow these steps:

1. Click on ‘Purchase Add-Ons’ on the Overview tab and scroll down to the Add-On calculator.
2. Click the plus sign (+) to add and the minus sign (-) to remove selected Add-ons.
3. When you’ve added all your desired Add-Ons, click ‘Buy Add-Ons’ or ‘Make a Payment’ below the calculator:
   • You will see ‘Make a Payment’ instead of ‘Buy Add-Ons’ if there are not enough funds in your account to make the purchase.
   • If you don’t have sufficient funds to purchase the Add-Ons, you will be asked to make a one-time payment equal to the price of the Add-On, less your current available funds. Click ‘Submit’, then ‘Go back’: now the button below the calculator will say ‘Buy Add-Ons’.
4. Select ‘Confirm my purchase’, and you’re off to the races!

Hi @Griff2015  - if you do not see the line item for your remaining minutes in your OVERVIEW tab on your SELF SERVE account, the you have no more minutes left in this cycle. Then see @computergeek541 post about the $5 addon (it is a good buy 🙂 )

Your counting the minutes yourself? I would look in Self Serve to see how many minutes are remaining if you haven't already done that. Minutes are rounded up and calling your voicemail to check messages count as minutes. To add more minutes to your $15 plan, you can purcahse the 500 minute Canadian long distance add-on for $5.
