You probaby did use up your base 1.5GB. And now that you're into the 1GB promo add-on, you're not throttled to 3G speeds anymore- its full speed LTE which makes it easier to use that up quickly too...
It also seems that with a data add-on you don't get the usual text warnings whem 75% and 95% of your data is used up either.

Check your data usage on your phone
If on Android tweak the start date to match your cycle.
Also go into usage history and sort it by type. Addup the usage during that period and see.

If your counter didn't reset contact moderators https://publicmobile.ca.ada.support/chat/
If the usage is 2g check your settings disable updates on data, disable WiFi/data assist or whatever it's called..
If you are not on promotion that you will lose by upgrade you could consider upgrading to 5 gigs for only 5 more, or ask moderators to renew you early and look closer after your data usage

@SueUnderhill If it's not showing then more than likely it was used up. Check your device's data usage stats to see which app or activity used it up.
If you still feel that the PM data counter is at fault then submit a ticket to PM for further investigation.

@SueUnderhill could you go into your self service account and check your history? Also check your phone to see if WiFi is turned off and your data usage history. Thanks.
