Damaged new sim

I went and set up my public mobile account when I placed sim in phone it doesn’t recognize the sim , I had a previous sim from public mobile on the same phone long ago. I have a account that I just payed for , how to I get a new sim for this new account I just payed for?

any other phone to test the sim card?

and this is a new account that you just set using the app?  and you go via payment and phone number choosing/transfer step?

if you cannot use the sim card still, check with support agent, probably just the account not setup on the system correctly
