The Community Reward
How does it work?
Based on your level of involvement with our Community, you can earn up to $20 every 30 days. The amount you are rewarded depends on your contribution level relative to overall contribution, which can change month to month even if you contribute very consistently. You can only ever qualify for one (1) Community Reward in a 30-day period, and you must act in accordance with Community Terms of Service at all times. You can read our Community Terms of Service here.
The following table shows how Community Rewards are allocated:
Who Can Earn Rewards?
To be eligible to earn Rewards, you must have:
1. A Rewards-eligible plan:
2. An active account:
Considerations for Rewards-ineligible Customers
Customers who are on a Legacy / Pioneer or 10-day plan not eligible for Rewards. If you are a Legacy / Pioneer customer and switch to a Rewards-eligible plan, please note:
How many Rewards can I earn?
You can earn up to your current plan value in Rewards, reducing it to $0. Once you reach the value of your plan, you will not be able to accumulate any further Rewards in that plan period, and you will not be able to save Rewards and apply them to future months.
Here’s an example of how you could get your plan down to $0:
You will earn $5 in Loyalty Rewards + $2 in AutoPay Rewards + $2 Community Rewards + 36 referrals at $1/30 days. That’s $45 in total Rewards, and a sweet $0 plan!
When are Rewards applied to my account?
Here are some things you should keep in mind about our Rewards program:
How do I know when I've earned Rewards?
Whenever a reward has been successfully applied to your account, we will send you a text message to let you know. To check the Rewards you’ve earned, log in to Self-Serve and check the ‘My Rewards’ section in the Overview Tab. You can also select the ‘My Rewards’ button and see all the Rewards you’ve earned since joining Public Mobile.
Below is an example of what you would see from the Overview tab, for a customer who has been with Public less than 1 year, and has no referrals:
Below is an example of what the ‘My Rewards’ section looks like, for the same account:

Just ignore this member. He will be banned/removed by the end of the day.

Oh great, that was faster than I thought. A big thank you! What cjasper did today was totally unacceptable and I hope you ban him forever.
@Agreed but it does highlight an underlying issue of inadequate response times (far greater than the promised occasional peak periods of 24-48 hrs) and it seems to be getting only worse not better. @ @Alan_K can you share any insights on what is being done to do to address this issue? If anything?
This. A thousand times. People wouldn't go crazy or throwing threats around if response times were tolerable. No one likes not having a service they're paying for.
I still think there should also be some kind of simple automated acknowledgment of receipt of the initial private message so that people can at least know they're actually in the queue and not just lost in a black hole.
@Alan_K: Thank you for noticing and piping in. I'm sure it must be difficult to balance the resources provided by the mothership with responding to customers in a timely fashion.

the user is permanently banned. I will also monitor the community to ensure that he does not create new accounts to spam the board again.
Thank you all for your understanding 🙂

@viveksingh905 no. Any rewards you have received since your last renewal are used on the next renewal. You do not have not (nor are you able to) wait until you have enough rewards for a full renewal cost.

i am not sure about the badges but to start with you can always try to go through the community once a week. i rhink that might be enough to be in top 25%.
10-26-2018 11:42 PM
top 50% means top 50 percent public mobile user based on their involvement. this is what i think

They are awarded once a month and and it is usually between the 7-12 of each month that you will see them awarded to your account.

Those are phantom badges. If you look at your own profile, the website likes to show badges for community rewards that haven't been earned. To my knowledge, it does this to everyone.
I looked at your profile and only the 1 reply badge is showing.

I am living proof this month that even a n00b such as myself can be helpful and receive a wonderful community reward. Thank you all for the welcoming in my first month and hope to stay around for a long time 🙂

Thanks, As I only joined in December, 2017, I am unfamiliar with legacy plans.
10-06-2018 12:51 PM
@Kerri all the current plans are eligible for rewards. Only the "legacy/pioneer" plans from prior to Jan 2015 are not eligible for rewards.
