When I went to check compatibility of my phone, UMIDIGI A3 Pro is not listed. There is "UMI" which is the OLD name.
In this forum., someone wrote that I should purchase Freedom Mobile SIM card.
I am confused. Shouldn't I buy Public Mobile SIM Card?
Kindly tell me which SIM card I should buy and how do I get it working, step by step, assuming I am a newbie.
Many thanks
M.S.

Step by step to activate your Public sim card:
1. Buy Public sim card.
2. Buy Public refill voucher of enough $ amount to pay for plan you want.
3. Get referal code from someone who already using Public so you both can save more $.
4. Click on the "Get Started" at the top of your screen.
5. Follow instructions given from "Get Started" page.

Since others have already confirmed your phone works with Public, I will remind you to buy a PUBLIC SIM CARD if you want to join PUBLIC MOBILE, do not buy any other brand.

I have Umidigi F1 and it works awesome. I did have to change the APN settings but just search for a thread on how to do that, and it is not very difficult.

@msahib That phone is compatible with PM and supports the following bands:
3G: WCDMA B1 /2 /4 /5 /6 /8 /19 4G: TDD-LTE B38 /40 /41 4G: FDD-LTE B1 /2 /3 /4 /5 /7 /8 /12 /13 /17 /18 /19 /20 /26 /28.
It also runs Android 9.0 so you won't need a freedom sim to add the APN entry.
So all is good. Go ahead and activate your sim and if you need anything else let us know. 🙂
