Put in wrong former mei number and it won't let us reset. How do I try to change it? On new activation

Who was your previous provider? If it was Speakout you need to use your PIN number because they do not use account numbers.

Apparently, a lot of prepaid services hide the account number from customers but you can ask for it. I think 7/11 is one such provider.

If your Public sim card working fine already, don't worry about updating the info. If not, then contact Moderators as others already advised.

@rosalinedeveau when porting a number best to use account number, name on account and the phone number and not the imei number.
If your card is activated best to click on the ? bottom right and submit a ticket and provide the correct info.
