I just signed up to a plan the offered free eSIM. The only way to complete the sign up was to purchase an eSIM.
why was I charged?

Did you just activate a plan today? Had a quick look and it looks like new activations should have free eSIM. You can contact customer service agent for account credit. Click on the chat icon on the right lower corner of website and follow prompts to submit a ticket for CSA help.

where did you see free esim offer ? If it's legit, read the fine print...maybe your account will be credited the $5 once your new account is activated.

I had to buy a e sim to complete the purchase but the plan I chose offered a free eSIM. Please rebate the $5

The PM eSIM is ONLY free if you got a new phone and want replace the eSIM on old phone to the new phone.

I haven't seen free esim offer but it could be your account will be creditted the $5 once you activate your account and plan.
