I know eh? Public Mobile is a prepaid service. You prepay for what you want. You should not be locked into any sort of price point. Best, at this time, is to open the app on the phone and go to subscription and change subscription. There will be the list of plans that they will allow you to change to. IF there is no plan you like on that list, you CAN, if you wanted to go through the trouble, port out to another service provider and then port back in. It's a pain but it get's you the plan you really want.

@Kaccy88 PM is hoping to capitalize on new subscribers coming over with enticing deals while keeping old timers on their plans. If you want the new deals, you will have to port out to another carrier and then back in, but you would lose ANY referrals, and remaining data /mins on your current plan. Not ideal, but it gets you the New subscribers deal.

not unusual, most carriers have different set of plans for new activation to attract new subscribers.
if you don't see the plan you want, sorry, you cannot change to it
