Hello, I noticed that today you released a new plan that includes Mexico data.
I want to switch to this new plan as I am travelling to Mexico in a couple weeks but I don’t want to pay twice in one month (my current plan renewed yesterday). I wondering/really hoping that I could simply pay the difference in the plan and have it take effect immediately?
Thank you in advance. I appreciate the help!

@RachelCogan being pre-paid, Public Mobile does not allow for pro rated services or paying the difference.
You change plans , cancel at any time and forfeit or loose the difference. You have the option to change plans at anytime and choose Change on Renewal.
If you will leave for your trip prior to the trip date , you have to decide if it's worth paying again and loosing the difference.
Keep in mind also that once you change plans, you are not guaranteed to get back the plan you has prior and might be stuck paying more moving forward.
If you are only traveling this once for 5-7 days, I would recommend leaving your plan as it is and just use wifi where available on you trip.
Very unlikely that they will do it for you, but you can use the chatbot and ask PM if they can credit you.

@RachelCogan If you don’t want to make plan change for next renewal you can try and ask support if they will allow you to pay diffence now instead no guarantee thou
you can use the orange chat bubble bottom right of screen or send a private message To CS_Agent

You can choose for your plan to take effect immediately, but the full plan price of the new plan will be chargerd immedaitely. You cannot just pay the difference. No credit will be given for the unused portion of your old plan.
