My phone number changed, and I used my email address to log in to public mobile. The problem is every time I try to log in to public mobile, it automatically send a text to my old phone number which I no longer have access to. This is probably annoying whoever owns that phone number. I can't find any option to change my phone number for my public mobile account.
Secondary is I want to refer a friend, but every time I click refer a friend, it tries to get me to subscribe. I don't want to subscribe, I just want to refer a friend.

I accept the answer from CSA_PM because it is the community account that lets me see and change my number. It appears this isn't a feature of the regular account.
Also, refer a friend only works if I currently have a subscription. I'll pass along your friend code when he gets mailed his sim card since I'm quite certain he can't use an esim.

I contacted customer service:
Regarding the refer a friend, you must have an account for you to take advantage of this benefit, your subscription generates a code that you share with your family and friends, and you receive Public points for each referral. If your friends use the code, they get a one-time bonus on their accounts.

I'm reviewed every web page I can find on public mobile. I can select to refer a friend, but it does nothing but tell me how great it is to refer friends. I have looked at every account web page I can find, and there is no sharing in caring link. I suspect I have to have a subscription, which I don't have.

Thank you. I downloaded the app, and it won't let me log in. After I put in my email and password, it just returns me to the log in screen without any indication as to what happened. I have tried twice.
On the web browser, I have looked at every option in my settings and profile, I don't see the sharing is caring anywhere. I can't find my friend code. Can I use yours? I have a guaranteed customer who is looking for any new phone service.

@Longheart You should be able to find it in both website and app . I mostly use the app now so when I log into it I tap “account page” then it shows top of screen

Thank you. I didn't realize that I had to be on the community web page to access my profile. I kept clicking the my account on the main homepage, and ending up at the main home page over and over again. I have removed my phone number successfully.
The more critical issue is I still can't find the sharing is caring link. Is it available on the web browser, or do I have to download the app? The app probably won't work since I don't have a phone number any more.

Hello @ Longheart,
You will need to access the community account in My Settings-Personal-Account Information and verify if the phone number is correct. Then, on the same page, go to Manage Ever Safe ID, check here as well if the phone number is correct, if not, update it. Then log off, log in again, and check once more if you receive the code.

@Longheart Tap “didn’t get code” then you will have code sent to email instead . Then go to profile page and update the new number in the “eversafeID” and you will start to have the code sent to your new phone number when logging in .
and for friend refferal . When you log into your account you should notice top of page “sharing is caring “ there you will see your refferal code give that to your friend to download app on there phone and activate they will have option to enter your refferal code before making payment . They will vet the onetime $10 credit with in 72 hours after activation
