Hi there
In just a few clicks, I changed my number from 873 to 647 in the Public Mobile app. Everything still looks completely connected to my old my phone number, though. Are there any steps or things I should do to help switch over??

Thanks! I contacted the PM using the link you provided because in attempting to update the Manage accounts eversafe number I may have deleted my new one? And now it’s saying my new number is already taken?

reboot the phone number and test calling yourself with the new number
And for login My Account, the 2FA will still send to the old number (by design). You have to update it yourself. So, click Didn't receive code or Resend code and choose Send email to get the code via email. After you are logged in, go to Profile page, Manage EverSafe ID and update the phone number there
