Change to roaming usa coverage with new plans

Hello just wondering if the new plans will help from a roaming perspective in the usa. If coverage will be better as I know many are shutting down 3g thanks

Unlikely at this time these changes will make a difference with US roaming. Talk is over 3G network.  PM's plan is to get VoLTE service in the USA and that would help.  Time frame is unknown for this to happen,.

I would say the new plans here would have no effect there. If and whenever Public decides to move on up to volte and then have agreements with them to allow volte usage on their networks then we'll be good to go.

But as it stands, T-Mobile on 2G is it other than spotty lagging shutdown areas.

@Dinsdalej No, it won't improve US Calling due to no VoLTE. Though, it should be coming very soon!
