Why can't I change my subscription to talk and ext $19/month. Its not an option for me, but it is offered to new clients

@AndreaC If you don't mind paying $100 up front for a year, check out a current Promo on Telus for unlimited calling and texting plus 2GB data a month (works out to $8.33 a month). After the first year it reverts to 400 mins + 400 texts and no data but then you could switch back here if there was something you liked by then, you'd be a new customer at that time. See

as an existing customer, you're not eligible for all current plans. Unlikely to be able to downgrade from your current plan without starting a new account entirely.

The only way to really get that plan is to port out to a different provider, wait a day or two and then port back to Public Mobile as a new customer. This would cost you whatever the cheapest plan you can find out there and whatever they charge for a SIM card. This is really and sadly the only way.

@AndreaC you can only switch to plans that you are currently seeing under your own Public Mobile account. Plans that are for new clients only are meant to attract them to switch over in the first place but sadly they are not allowing existing customer to switch to them. Which plan are you on now and what is the cheapest plan you are seeing available to you?

Unfortunately, yes, the $19 plan is reserved for new clients. You can only change to what's in your Account. So if you really need to change, switch to the cheapest at Renewal.
