Change phone number

Hello, 

I just got a new plan here on public mobile after being out of the country for 7 months. I would like my old know number back but it doesn’t work when I try to use the transfer number tab. Is there a way I can get this old number back?

yes, porting only works if you own the number and the number is now active with another provider

if you lost your number from the old account, you can try to ask PM and see if they can help

Just open ticket with PM using the Orange Chatbot icon on the lower right. (For 2FA when login, you might need to use email to receive if you cannot receive the text on the phone.)  Type the question Submit ticket and select Contact Us to get to ticket open screen

@Aspencooper  Since it's been 7 months it's extremely unlikely you can get it back.  You can suspend an account for up to 90 days from last payment due date but after that it is closed and the number may have been re-assigned to someone else and/or returned to the carrier it came from originally.  Have you tried calling the number, and do you know if it was originally a Telus/Koodo/Public Mobile number?
