Tried porting in my number and got this text shortly. Its been 2 hours and havent been contacted yet. What are my options?

There's a chance that nobody will automatically contact you. That mesage is a generic message and should only be accepted as a notice that number porting failed. Also, please note that the text message has a mistake in that Public Mobile has never corrected. ESN and MEI are no longer used in you in Canada. If you look for those, you will not find it as all cell phones in Canada currenly use an IMEI. You'll need to provide that IMEI or your old carrier's account number to the Public Mobile customer support agent.

Maybe others already did, but I just sent you a private message with the porting number you can try calling. Check your envelope icon in the top right.

I will private message you the number to help with porting.
Hopefully you can use someone else's phone to call this number.
To check your private messages, look at the envelope icon between your avatar and the bell icon on the upper right.

@zk52 I think you got the porting team number already, you tried to call them yet? Call early, I think they close at 10pm EST. Likely you have entered something wrong and you just have to give them back the missing information and they can re-trigger the porting authentication text .

Click on that link and type "trouble porting " to start a ticket with customer support and restart the porting process. You should be sent a text to your previous provider's SIM to approve port.
