Created an account, chose a subcription, paid for it and now unable to complete info step to port existing number over and finalize. Have rebooted phone, reinstalled public mobile app. Nothing works. Created a tickwt for help but honestly after wasting two hours of my life on what should have taken 5 minutes I have lost any daith in public mobile.

@Jonathanh10 I know that in order to use eSIM properly, you MUST download the app and complete the subscription on the phone you will be using for the service. Providing that was down correctly, there should be no confusion about logging in (using the wrong info).
just make sure that you are loggin in to her account from her phone because as you suggested, if you make changes on your phone, even if you’re logged in to her account, it will change your number/esim etc, so don’t do that. I too am no expert, but assume and hope that if you haven’t sorted it by now, that PM has/will step in just after 9 am eastern.

I used esim on my original phone as well as for new phone (my wifes). But she gas an iphone. That ia only difference. I am able to login to the account i created for her on my phone but for some reason not her iphone via the app. Logging into her created account on my phone takes me to the stage it should where i can add info for porting phone number over and finalizing but i am really not sure if thats possible as its being done via app on my phone (i.e., will this elimimate my phone number and port her number into my phone? ...if that makes any sense. Im not a twxh expert on how this works).

Any major differences this second time around? eSIM vs Physical sim? Android vs iPhone? New subscription vs port in from previous carrier ?
I’m just wondering what step you may be stuck at

Hi and thanks for replying. Yes i used the app to subscribe. Yes i used a different email. And fingers crossed I get a response soon from an CS agent, probably tomorrow.

@Jonathanh10 Please make sure you are using the APP to subscribe, as the web version will only get you so far without actually completing. Are you subscribing using a different email (from the other account) as well, because you can only have 1 account per email, and they can’t be linked. And if you’ve opened a ticket, you can expect a CS reply between the working hours of 9am-10-pm eastern everyday .

Had zero issue signing up my first phone. Extremely dissapointed. Feeling ripped off.
