Cannot text or use data with my umidigi x

Hello everyone,

I'm unable to send or receive text messages or use my data. Any ideas on how to go about it? I have tried turning the phone several times but no avail

@nike  on post above. The link I provided for another Umidigi X. If you look at page 5 another member had success with a Freedom mobile sim 2 weeks ago.

Here is there response.

It's unfortunate but there are some.phone models (some Ulephones as well) that require a Freedom mobile or roam sim card to be able to edit the APN settings.

Do you know anyone with a Freedom mobile sim card? You may need a Freedom mobile sim or a roam mobile sim to be able to edit the APN settings.

Not sure where you're located but maybe a mobile shop may have a Freedom sim that they will allow you to use for a minutes to try the edit the APN settings?
