Cannot switch to a new plan

Hello

Looking to switch to the $29 can us Mex plan.  But my list of plans only offers the $35 one.  Why?

@hTideGnow  @Colbydog  Already said he have $35 plan and changing to it .they confirming why they didn’t see the $29 plan either like @Anotherpaul778   didn’t see it and no work around for the $29 that current price plan option only

 You don't see it now but there is a workaround to unlock it if you see the $30 plan there on your My Account

You can first pick $30 plan and do a Change Now plan change , which of course you need to pay now and the remaining days on your current cycle will be wasted.    With this, you might be able to unlock the $35 roaming plan, and you can then schedule a plan change on the following renewal day

I have the same issue, am on the $34 CAN/US plan and wanted to change to the $29 CAN/US/MEX 10GB plan. The only new MEX plans available for me are the $35/$45/$55. I contacted CS_Agent support a few times and they told me that it was a "system error" and also that it was for "new activations only". This is PM code word for you can not downgrade your 5G plan (ie: pay less).

As others noted, you could port out and then port back in. Bit of a hassle to do that IMO. Unless something way better pops up tomorrow from other cell companies, I'll renew to the $35 MEX plan on my next sub cycle.

@Anotherpaul778  My guess is because the plan you currently know is more then $29 now and PM really only wants people to upgrade plan price not downgrade plan price . And makes it harder to downgrade now . So short of porting  number out and back in on desired plan we can only change  to the plans that are available to us to switch to in our accounts . Some will tell you to ask support but they won’t help so it’s waste of both you and supports time . Only exception to that rule would be if you just activated in the last day/ or two but if you been existing customer the answer will be NO

PM now use targeted marketing and only show selected number of plans and not all.  So, not everyone can switch to the $29 roaming plan.   You an try asking support and see if they can help, but so far, many got declined
