I recently switched from bell to public today. And I cannot send or receive text messages. All other functions work like calling and internet I tried resetting all my settings and did all the trouble shooting things I could do getting very frustrated

My phone is a Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra. I have taking up my sim reset my network settings still not working properly. I can make phone calls. I cannot receive phone calls. And I cannot get text messages or receive them.
And my number pops up when I make phone calls

Which model phone are you using? iPhone? If iPhone, you might need to logout of Messages and then log back in.
Have you tried network reset of phone (note: this will erase any saved Wifi passwords)?
What about incoming phone calls? Are you able to recieve phone calls on your original number?

make sure your Bell sim card is removed, or Bell eSIM is disabled
Then reset network settings once more. If same, then submit a ticket with CS Agent using Chatbot here:
