Today I can't send SMS but I can send MMS. Both my wife and I have the same problem, both using Galaxy S5.
Possibly related: we're from Alberta, currently vacationing in Vancouver.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Have tried rebooting; no change in symptoms.
Yes, voice calls work.
Yes, the time is accurate.

@MangoCan you call and receive calls? Does both your phones' time matches Vancouver's time?

Maybe try rebooting the phones, but as suggested earlier it could be a temporary glitch.

This could be a temporary network issue. I would think that's the most likley scenario because even if the SMSC setting was changed by mistake, it wouldn't have happened on both phones. Being in a a different city wouldn't result in the need for you to make any changes on your end. The settings for your phone would be the same.
