Starting a few weeks ago (as far as I can tell) I haven't been able to make outgoing local calls. My plan has unlimited local calls, but I haven't been able to make local calls recently. I recently changed my number to a Northwest Territories (Yellowknife) number and was able to make local calls fine until very recently, and now I get the "your plan does not support long distance calls" etc message.
Also, I can still receive incoming calls.
I'm not sure if living in a fairly remote region is causing this issue, but it wasn't a problem in the past and nothing has changed in the mean time.
Thanks,
Ryan

Try toggling the lost/stolen phone feature in your account and see if that helps. I've heared that has worked for a lot of people
